I have air bubbles in the laser tube

A common issue when starting the water cooling system is the appearance of air bubbles at the ends of the laser tube. These bubbles are highly detrimental to the performance and lifespan of your Due Flow and must be removed before operation.

Video Guide

Check out this short video for a quick demonstration of the techniques used to clear the system:

Removal Techniques

If you notice bubbles in the tube, follow these steps in order. Be persistent, as it may take a few tries for the air to clear completely.

1. Power Cycle

Turn off the machine entirely and wait at least 10 seconds before switching it back on. This simple reset can sometimes flush the air out through the initial water pressure.

2. Manual Hose Pressure

Gently squeeze and release the water hose several times to encourage the bubble to move. This is most effective when done on the left side of the hose.

3. Tilt the Machine

Carefully lift the side of the machine opposite to where the bubble is trapped. Gravity often helps the air pocket travel toward the outlet.

4. Agitate the Tube Axis

Firmly move the tube axis back and forth. The goal is to "shake" the bubble loose from the internal walls of the tube. While you should be careful not to damage the hardware, this movement requires some intensity to be effective.

Still stuck?

If the air bubbles persist despite these efforts, please stop operation and contact our Technical Support. We will analyze your case closely to ensure your equipment remains safe!
