Printed Parts¶
This page lists the 3D printed components required to build the My-Cloner Rev A.
All printed parts should be produced from the official My-Cloner files for the corresponding hardware revision.
Authoritative BOM
The My-Cloner Rev A BOM V2 is the authoritative Bill of Materials for this hardware revision.
Always verify that the printable files correspond to the same hardware revision before starting a build.
Printing Recommendations¶
The following settings provide a general starting point for printing the My-Cloner parts.
| Setting | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Perimeters | 4 |
| Layer Height | 0.20–0.30 mm |
| Infill | 25% |
| Material | PETG, ASA or ABS |
| Supports | As specified in the parts list |
These values are general recommendations and may be adjusted according to the material, printer and slicer profile being used.
Material Choice
PETG is a practical choice for most My-Cloner structural printed parts.
Materials with higher temperature resistance, such as ASA or ABS, may also be used when printed correctly.

Part Colors
The black and blue colors shown above correspond to the reference My-Cloner build.
Color does not affect mechanical compatibility and may be changed according to personal preference.
Left and Right Parts¶
Some components are supplied as separate left and right versions.
Pay particular attention to:
- LCD Support (L)
- LCD Support (R)
- Z Axis Top (L)
- Z Axis Top (R)
- Z Motor Mount (L)
- Z Motor Mount (R)
Do not print two copies of one side unless the BOM specifically requires it.
Download STL Files¶
The BOM identifies which parts are required.
The printable files themselves are provided separately in the Downloads section.
Use the official My-Cloner STL files for the current hardware revision:
Use Current Revision Files
Do not mix printed parts from older My-Cloner prototypes or inherited MK3S designs with the current Rev A build unless compatibility has been explicitly confirmed.
Before Printing¶
Before starting a complete set of parts:
- Confirm that you are using the current My-Cloner Rev A files.
- Check the orientation of each model in the slicer.
- Verify the required quantity against the BOM.
- Confirm that left and right variants are both present where required.
- Check that the selected material is suitable for the component.
- Preview the sliced model before printing.
Large parts may benefit from additional bed adhesion depending on the printer, material and environment.
Before Assembly¶
Inspect every printed component before installing it.
Check for:
- Cracks
- Warping
- Poor layer adhesion
- Damaged holes
- Incomplete features
- Excess material around mating surfaces
Remove any required brim, support material or printing artefacts before assembly.
Do not force screws, bearings or rods into a part that is visibly defective or dimensionally incorrect.
